Why SRI = 500 EOI Bonus Points
Every LAA in this draw came from an SRI invitation. Being invited by Manitoba (via job fair, community event, or employer outreach) adds 500 points to your EOI — often the difference between waiting years and getting invited in weeks.
The Skilled Worker Stream has two paths: In-Manitoba and Overseas. Both require an EOI. Missing a valid test number or SRI invitation code = no LAA.
2025 Quota Recovery + 2026 Outlook
Federal government slashed every province’s 2025 PNP quota by 50% in January. Manitoba started with 4,750. After lobbying, 1,489 extra spots were added in October → 6,239 total (65% of 2024’s 9,500).
On November 4, Canada unveiled the 2026–2028 Levels Plan: PNP admissions jump 66% to 91,500 in 2026. Manitoba is expected to receive a larger slice, opening the door for thousands more skilled workers.
